I bought the pink cotton candy furby from toys r us for $44.00 dollars. They had $10.00 dollars of the orginal price, which is $54.00 bucks, the deal was for black friday. The furby takes 4 double A batteries and it last around four days, depends on how much you interact with furby. Furby do not have an on and of switch, he will just fall to sleep when you stop playing with him. He is so cute and cuddly, you will fall in love with him. Your furby will take on your personality . For example if you pet his head, rub his belly and feed him regularly he will be good and loving. If you neglect him by not feeding him, holding him upside down and pulling his tail, he will behave badly. So don't let to much people handle your furby because his personalty could change. If his personalty change and he becomes bad, it will take about 6 days of petting his head and hugging him to change him back. If furby turns bad he will turn evil and he will make farts and burps noises and say mean stuff like Oh my God. Furby do recongnize if his owner is a boy or a girl and changes his voice to suite. So basically your furby is going to be a reflection of you. It do respond to music by rocking side to side. The furby also speak furbish and in time will speak english, one word at a time. You can also download the furby app so you can understand what he is saying. So you can talk to him in furbish and english. By looking at the the furby eyes you can tell how he is feeling. I will say buy it you will not regret it
