Furby Furbling Creature Polka Dots

A whole new generation of Furby critters is about to hatch and they need you to take care of them. This Furblings creature has a mind of its own, but it needs your love and care as it "grows." You won't do it alone, though, because it will share a special connection with your Furby Boom creature (sold separately). Put the two of them together and watch as your Furblings creature talks - and your Furby Boom creature answers. Raise your little Furblings creature right and have loads of fun doing it. You can also download a free app and unlock a virtual Furblings creature to add to your collection. Get virtual eggs and hatch and raise your Furblings on your mobile device (sold separately). The Furby app is optional and works with iPad, iPod touch and iPhone with iOS 5.0 or later. The app is not compatible with prior Furby generations. Check Furby.com for device compatibility. Furby and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro. iPad, iPod touch and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

I bought this furby for my daughter's birthday because we couldn't find a full-sized furby in the stores. She had spent some time playing with her cousin's full sized furby and I was hoping that this would be similar but it just doesn't measure up. I was so disappointed to open the box and find an overpriced happy meal toy! Here are my complaints:

The feet, ears and mouth don't move. My daughter was particularly disappointed with the mouth because with regular furbies you can pretend to feed them

Does not respond to motion, will not give you a response if you shake it or grab it's tail

Does not interact with humans at all. Instead there is a cheap push button on the top of the head that causes it to make a half-dozen random gibberish sounds. This means that nothing you do to it actually matters and you can not change the furby's mood.

The eyes change, but only because it's a cheap hologram.

This thing is tiny. It can fit in the palm of a child's hand, and the box doesn't even feel like it has anything in it

Basically, this toy lacks everything that a person would actually expect from a furby. This toy is overpriced for what it is. It seriously just seems like a dollar-store version of the original or something they should be given away for promotional purposes. The ONLY GOOD THING about it is that they make a full sized furby with the same pattern so I'm planning on replacing hers with a big one and returning this one.
